Hissa A. AlSudairy joins the RENU team as a board-certified Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). She is verified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ (AND) Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and holds a Clinical Dietitian License verified by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialists (SCFHS). 

Hissa A. AlSudairy earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and Food Science and a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed an accredited Dietetic Residency in Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) in the United States. 

As testament to her dedication to excellence, Hissa A. AlSudairy was put forth by the National Nutrition Committee (NNC) of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) to work as a Principal Investigator (PI) and nutrition research consultant for the NNC’s guidelines and recommendations group. Additionally, she was nominated and served as committee board member with the Saudi Society for Clinical Nutrition. 

Through her education, work, and research, Hissa A. AlSudairy is continuously reminded of the beneficial effects of nutrition education, awareness, intervention, therapy, and counselling. She uses this knowledge to support her patients in achieving optimal health, quality of life, growth, development, recovery, and prevention of the onset or progression of noncommunicable diseases.
